Hello, how many of those who wrote statement of witness for you like landlord, friends, relatives has been contacted by USCIS? Just curious, i came to know few has been contacted by USCIS, i thought USCIS is not supposed to contact them. 

 

It seems they are crosschecking each and every document we are sending them.

On their website, it says there have been some delays issuing receipt.

I chose to wait the rfe from vawa and take it from there. I am getting some more proofs, affidavits from our neighbors, spoke with my ex wife she agreed to write a notorized letter as well that our marriage was real, got plenty of letters from hospital and bills with our address,... And will have to debunk the so called other address USCIS said my ex took a driver's license with and bills hooked up to that address which have happeared to be false after checking with billing companies, ...

Clearly he has no clue about VAWA or about immigration. If he is honest he would tell you "man your chance is  less than 1%, and I will charge you  $ xxxxx",  but not all these nonsense things he told you.

I’m in NYC have been waiting for my EAD renewal so I contacted the ombudsman and this their reply to me : 

Dear Sir/Madam,

 

Thank you for your email. This request has been shared with management for review and will be noted in your file.

 

 

 

I have been contacting the congress people no results. Should I expect something or it’s a dead end .

when are you receiving a RFE from VAWA?  Did they already notify you about it?

Who said that they would not contact them?  If says that on USCIS website along with the posibility of home visits.

Thank you for you kind words, and my I-485 Interview was previously  scheduled back in 2015 but it was put on hold because of extreme abuse and i had to wait until the approval of my VAWA which happen back in 2019. What is confusing is that my lawyer is sayin that my file was send to the field office in December of 2020 which doesn't make sense why it toke more than 1 year for my case to be transferred to my local office or maybe they don't know im in such a limbo IDK what to do.

 

FYI I want to apologies for my stupid questions just my anxiety is being extra hard on me.

I saw that and assumed they only referred to lockbox facilities. Vermont is a service center so I thought it'll be different

@sandranj I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's passing, may her soul rest in peace. We may not always understand the ways or plans of the Lord, but His plans for us are always better in the long run. The Lord has already made the future bright for that beautiful baby, and he will be loved and cared for like the precious gem that he is, his Mom will always be there watching over him, guiding and protecting him always. Thank you @sandranj . what if I demonstrate that USCIS didn't consider all the evidences together when they made their decision by showing that the denial decision was based on partial evidences and also by bringing forth new proof of evidences to prove my marriage was real? Because on the denial notice, USCIS mentioned few evidences on which they based their decision and failed to consider all the evidences we submitted. Evidences such joint tax return, health insurance, 401k, others bills, joint bank statement,...were not among the proofs they mentioned to have taken the decision on.

Also, are you familiar with the 237(A)(1)(H) waiver? If I have an immediate relative for hardship in Court. 

 

Dnt give up !! Keep pushing hard and Dnt put in too much hope on it !! What will be will be !! Is just so sad that immigrants have to go through all these !! People back home dnt know what you passing through I swear
