After “card is being produced”, they have updated my case with “correspondence was received and USCIS is reviewing it”. Has that happened to any of you folks? Doesn’t make any sense to me.

Sometimes when they update your file information it appears that way, it’s an error, I believe they updated your card status

God. I hope so. Thank you.

I have been waiting for the official approval notice of my case. Instead, I received that this morning.

It has to be the approval notice, 🙏

So they can ask RFE for vawa case even tho they send me c31 ead???

Depends. For I-485 - yes. For I-360 - it was already approved if you got a C31 EAD, so RFE wouldn't be the right process for getting more information, instead they might NOIR it if something questionable comes up in the wash.

NOIR is a Notice of Intent to Revoke, which is similar to an RFE but issued after an approval was already issued. They will present the reasons in the notice why the I-360's approval should be revoked and you have an opportunity to respond to it. If you overcome their doubts the case will remain approved, if you don't or you ignore it they will revoke the approval and deny the I-360. Past that you can still seek an appeal with the AAO or a Motion to Reopen or/and Reconsider with the VSC.

NOIRs rarely happen.

Thanks y’all for responds, the only reason I’m asking this just because I contacted my attorney and they told me something like “ you don’t need to check your i360 online they have nothing to do with it instead always check i485 if it’s pending” when I asked them if I received my c31 category does it mean that my i360 was approved? They told me no,because they don’t see any changes on i485 and that means my i360 is still pending! I’m like what??? I’m so confused and stressed out now and have no idea what to think....

Yes, having the C31 EAD means that I-360 was approved for one very simple reason - that EAD cannot be issued without approval on the I-360. Sometimes VSC just takes a while after the EAD to send out the actual approval notice for I-360 and transfer the I-485 to the NBC for further processing.

I received c31 two months ago. I haven’t received an official approval notice yet. Instead, they updated my status with “correspondence was received and USCIS is reviewing it.” this morning. I can only hope it is an error. But I would not count on C31 for anything. It seems that there could be many uncertainties.

My lawyer just told me i might have to pay for advance parole,

see below his message

""Your EAD and Advanced Parole renewals will be in the mail today. After further review, Advanced Parole renewal applications may be rejected for VAWA applicants unless you pay the fee. This is a new trend with USCIS. We will submit, but I just wanted to warn you in case they send it back. They will still accept the EAD application

Any1 experience this?

If you got a fee waiver for the I-485, then yes, you either have to submit another I-912 fee waiver or pay the AP/EAD fees when renewing. In this case unless you plan to travel you can just renew the EAD and ignore the AP to save some money.

If you paid for I-485, then no, the EAD/AP renewals will be free.
