Hello! Does anybody know from which month and year does USCIS approving

I-360 at the moment? (Based on other people timeline). Will I get any answer this year?

Please my friends once you got approved don't forget to share your timeline!

Here is mine: Dec 22, 2019.  I-360  received, Feb 19, 2020 RFE for police reports etc., March 24,2020 Replied to RFE. No prima facie

I though USCIS can now reject applications if you do not attach all the required document, and it is at their discretion to send RFE?

If they send you RFE and you didn’t send them what they are asking you to send them, sure they can reject your package, by sending your first package make sure to include some evidence that you got, but I have no idea you must send all the required evidence in your first package

Maria, I know the whole process is not easy, i have seen people who are 22 months in on here and still waiting, I am just 12 month in and I know how hard it is to have patience love. I know it is hard hunni, hell i check my tracking app 2 times a day sometimes, but take each day one at a time, you have prima facie, utilize the little blessings you have been giving while waiting for that big blessing to knock on your door. Don't be sad and don't lose hope, you have held on 16mths and I know you can hold on just a little longer. Sending you lots of love and hugs, your big moment is coming, and when it does, please come in here and celebrate with us.

Thank you my dear for your advice . Sure I’ll post when I get my approval 🙏❤️

He. I sent in September 2019 full package

360.485.765 together same days.

got second prima facie in December

I sent : My electric bill with both name . Our home insurance (everything with both name) statement and contract . Lease contract. Receipt for the rent apartment . My credit card statement and my ex was my cardholder and had separate card with his name . Every receipt when I made shopping. BJ shopping card ( he was cardholder) teacher ticket (booked online ) hotel  receipt when we spent time in vacation.

Jim membership statement . Phone statement .

many copied label  from Amazon with both name. Many felicitation from our friend and family members. 250 pictures.3 witness letter notarized. Report from hospital MRI and CT on my head and prescription from doctor (pain pill) psychologist report 13 page.  My history statement 15 page . I didn’t have police report because I was scared to call police that was reason I didn’t get it .

question is : are those proof enough for my case? We lived together 18 month . I got my second prima facie but I already have depressed  again . I can’t wait anymore, I’m gonna go to my country and never come back . I’m waiting almost 16 month

You are very close to finish line. Please hang in there for few more months. USCIS may approve your case around mid year this year. But even if you get an RFE it’s certainly not end of world. All this wait is worth while!! This forum is basically a survivor group. Its okay to feel down sometimes but please pull yourself together for your own sake. In the end all this hardship will end and help you live better!! Praying for you 🙏🏽

Hi everyone,

Please I need your guidance. My I-485 interview was scheduled in Jan '21, but was later canceled and rescheduled. The USCIS subsequently sent a notice stating that my interview will now be on the 19th of March. The issue is, I am in the process of filing the VAWA application and I will not be able to put in my application before the 19th because I am still gathering evidence. What should I do in this case? Should I go for the interview? How can I convince my Case Manager to pend my I-485 application while I file the VAWA?  What document can I present to my Case Manager to help my situation? Do I need to go with a lawyer to help plead my case? I am going out of my mind trying to figure out what to do..

You can go to the interview and tell the officer you will be filing I360 and ask them to hold your I485 for a few more weeks since you're about to apply. If you have any good proof for abuse (police report, order of protection, affidavits, therapist evaluation) - bring it to support your statement.

Hi Community,
Just a quick question - applying for EAD+AP renewal under (c)(9) - did anything change in the process / docs to submit since April last year or not ?
As I understand c9 applicants are not subject to a fee, correct ?

Thank you in advance!

You're correct, still same.

Probably an average of 2 years or so. So you might hear something end of this year.

I received RFE two times, the first one was a month after I sent my application, they asked for background check and the other one was 28 months after I filed. I was asked to explain my abuse in details and I saw it as a good opportunity. I wrote my statement all over again, my family friend that saw everything wrote her statement all over again and I asked my family from my country that knows about my marriage to write statement to prove my marriage, they sent everything to me, I gathered as much as I could cos I believe that could be my last opportunity to prove myself and after 5months, I got my C31 EAD,waiting for my approval notice. The RFE could be in your favor, just try and gather everything that could help your case. Wish you all the best.

Thank you so much for sharing information, really appreciate your help. god bless you,

You already seem to have provided required  evidence for good faith marriage. So rfe may be for something else. I had my parents, cousins and friends statements which detailed information they knew about how we met and married. I think you can add those letters if required. I have seen other members suggesting resending detailed self statement on timeline of your relationship, marriage depending on rfe requirements. So not a bad idea to start penning another statement! Please try to manage your anxiety although i know it can be quite challenging. We all have been through these phases and eventually landed fine. I have seen and believe that uscis approves all genuine cases. God bless you.

Thank you, god bless you, will keep you posted.

Thank you! Do you know what month/year of I-360 forms is USCIS currently working on? Maybe April 2019? I think I also saw an approval from July 2019?

What RFE is about? He can continue to send the RFE to Uscis, by submitting his vawa package tell him to include his current I-485 receipt with a cover letter asking VSC to link his current I-485 to his vawa package, that way Your 485 will be put on hold, and they will call you for interview when your vawa gets approved ,or you can just file a new vawa package of I-360/ I-485 and I-765 and get rid of your bad spouse 100%
