UPDATE:

My interview has been scheduled, finally. I have contacted my congresswoman and I just got the mail that they scheduled my interview for February 18th, but I never received letter in the mail. I also changed my address with USCIS in November and I have mail forwarding to my new place. Now I am worried that the letter is lost somewhere, so how can I know the exact date and time for my interview?

Let's look at it this way if you're approved without an interview it means there's really no problem! People are generally more concerned about crimes of moral turpitude.. you really shouldn't worry too much about a citation for traffic and for your second question the officer is not supposed to discuss the i360 which has already been adjudicated and approved but some of them just get overzealous you can choose to go through it with them or politely decline!👍

Thank you @Stillwinning!!!😊

totally agree with you! I think it should be fine too but I mean can it cause issues with citizenship later? It doesn't matter much but just wondering what happens in cases where people get approved without interview and there's minor changes on the form required. happy to hear your thoughts

second: should one correct typos/errors on the vawa affidavit in the i-485 interview or just let it go because its approved?

Correct anything at your interview.. again if you are approved without interview it likely won't affect citizenship!👍

Anybody got some resources on terminating removal proceedings these days? I've been digging but a lot of stuff is pretty outdated.

Contradictions without citations only make you look dumb.

[Note to self:  Joke worked again... joke worked again... joke worked again...]

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Good Afternoon ,

I am preparing my documents to refile my I-485 again  based on approved I-360. I am sharing the documents to check if I missed anything in the list  :

1. Form I-485, I-765, I-131, I-864 Waiver , medical report I-693,

2. Supporting Documents : I-360 approval letter, 2 photos , Copy of passport, birth-certificate, id card , I-94, marriage certificate and divorce certificate .

Besides that I have few questions

1. I do not have any criminal record like felony or arrest  . Do I need to get police clearance from my current  place  ? I contacted to the police station . They said they take 3 months to process it and mail it because of Corona .  Need a possible solution as I want to apply I-485 faster .

2. Should I use the Alien number in any form ? My previous I -485 is denied . So I am not sure if the  alien number is valid or not  .

3. And will I go through the biometric again as I am gonna refile I-485 ?

4. Should I include any information like reason about previous denial ?

Thanks everyone .

Thank you!
I reached out to my congresswoman and got reply within 30 minutes, she sent me exact interview date, time and location! So relieved now!

She didn't send me full letter though, so I can't see which supporting documents should I bring to the interview, would anyone please share their experience for the required documentation?

Also, it wouldn't be an issue if I just show them interview notice letter on my phone once I show up there, would it?

I’m confused here. Is this rule for VAWA based GC holders or for those that got their GC via marriage and later divorced?

You obtained the green card through VAWA because you were married to a U.S Citizen or to a GC holder. There are several decisions  by the Board of Immigration about this matter.

Don't forget the Immigration Law about the 5 years rule  was enacted in 1990 and the Vawa Law in  1994,but I  don't have time to explain how it works the Law.
