Congratulations!🎉🎊😊👍 I got my welcome letter with the green card so yeah when you get it you should go through it so you'll be well-informed of everything that you need to know as a green card holder.. a permanent resident!

Thank you. I got the envelope with the card but no welcome letter. What should I do?..

Thanks, @Stillwinning!!!😊. Is this blue booklet a an actual “welcome letter” that one supposed to receive? If yes I had it in the envelope with the card. Confused. 

I just thought a “welcome letter” is something different (actual letter addressed to me and etc.).

I did 2 and 2 times he got lucky and avoided jail time despite the violation of the restraining orders. Finaly after 4 restraining orders 2 moves and 3 charges he kind a stoped chasing me still trying to message me and to find out where i live. Thanks to good i haven't got in contact with him in a since 2020.

Response to RFE sent to uscis on November 2019

EAD/AP renewal sent July 2020

EAD/AP approved October 2020

I-360 Card produced November 2020

I-360 Approval update January 2021

 

Last update on my I-485 is from September 2019 saying fingerprints were used from before.

After I moved in June, I sent about 5 letters to USCIS asking to update my address, no luck! 

 

08/2017 - Married USC

09/2017 - Application for I-485, I-765, I-131

12/2017 - Approval  I-765, I-131

09/2018 Renewal application for I-765, I-131

04/2019 - I-485 interview scheduled 

04/2019 - I-485 denied, husband withdrew

05/2019 - Application for  I-360, I-485, I-765, I-131 

12/2019 EAD, AP approval

07/2020 EAD, AP renewal sent to Vermont

10/2020 EAD, AP Approval

11/2020 VAWA I-360 Approved (C31 produced)

01/2021 I-360 status changed to case approved

03/2021 - I-693 deficient notice from national benefit center

Hi there, quick update. I had my interview this morning at the Houston field office. The officer was super friendly, only asked standard questions really. He said he needs to do background check which usually takes ~3 weeks. Hope to hear back soon, idk what else is there to check after I sent police clearance in 2017 with my application and FBI clearance in 2019 for a GMC RFE.

I think some people here also didn't receive the i-131 receipt.. also if you updated your address with Vermont, then you're good! I have question regarding personal statement. Do we need to mention precise dates when abuse happened or it could be tentative like for example in 2nd week of December ,,," I did not got chance to read anyone's statement before so not sure what is more correct way of writing it. I already submitted my report last year but even today i am confuse how should i have wrote it. Thank you, god bless you,

Congratulations on a nonthreatening interview!

Background checks (1) take as long as they take, and (2) expire and have to be started over.

The process is 100% opaque, and nothing can be done to help it along.

The waiting can be helped by another joke or two, which I'll select tonight or tomorrow. :) 

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

@sandranj and @Stillwinning!!!😊 What is the rule for fingerprints? I submitted my I-360 in April 2020, and 485 in November, never received any request for fingerprints.
