Hello All, I am new here, please help me. I did not know this helpful forum exists.

Here is my timeline, Married to US neutralized citizen in June 2019, Things didnt worked well, I literally ran away from home in September 2019. Filed just I-360 VAWA in April 2020, Received GMC RFE in May 2020, responded in same month. I moved to different  address, mail USCIS VSC to update the address. Filed I-485, I-765, and I-131 in November 2020. Received receipts of I-485 and I-765 but not I-131. Please help me with following,

1. I moved again at new address. So i sent again documents to USCIS VSC and Harrisburg address for all (I-360, I-485, I-765) to update the address in December, no update yet. (Sent AR-11 form) As well as updated address online for 485 and 765 online as well. How i can make sure they really updated my address? I am really worried and dont want to miss any communication from USCIS. What is correct way to update the address with USCIS?

2. Reached out to congressmen last month and asked to assist to locate I-131, if they missed to send that receipt or they are not processing it. What i can do to make sure they are working on I-131 as well? I USCIS mail as well asking for I-131 details in December around 2nd week, no reply yet. TIA @sandranj @Stillwinning!!!😊  @Shroy123

 Please help.

You're most likely going to get a combo card the work permit and the advance parole together. I think some people here also didn't receive the i-131 receipt.. also if you updated your address with Vermont, then you're good! Good thing you reached out to your congressman he'll be able to get that information out for you regarding your Advance parole keep calling the office.. keep reaching out to them.. They're in the best position to help you!👍

may 2020 - ead C31 under vawa
Aug 2020 - vawa approved

since then nothing, No Rfe and NO updates for i485 at all

my lawyer says it could be another 6 months to a year here in NYC 😒

Thank you, let's pray soon.

@sandranj @Stillwinning!!!😊 please can any of you help answer this. I have a pending vawa and i485 with fee waiver for both. My attorney recently sent my EAD renewal to Chicago IL without any fee and I am yet to hear back from USCIS. I raised my concern that I was supposed to pay for EAD renewal and today he said we will send another I 765 with the fee. My question is which office is he suppose to send it to ? Is it Vermont or Chicago il. Also the first I 765 was sent this month to Chicago without fee, should I resend another one with fee and to which office

thanks

If you submitted with waiver then you have to submit the i-765 with another waiver. Clearly your attorney doesn't know anything about VAWA. Even a paralegal knows that everything related to VAWA must be submitted to Vermont.

You can just update the address with the Service through mail! Set up an appointment with info pass to see if USCIS updated your address or not.

Hey everyone my Spouse in different state and kept threatening me Deportation what the easy way to get divorce and do I need him I’m the state and there Court he been abandoned the house for almost a year !

There is no easy way to get divorce, you need just to file for divorce!. Go to the Court and ask a Pro Se  divorce kit, if you don't have children or assets to share then you can represent yourself without any problem.

@sandranj@Stillwinning!!!😊@Villanelle Today I got my case status updated and the I-485 case history is as under:

"January 20, 2021 Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview
January 20, 2021 We cancelled your interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, and mailed you a cancellation notice.
August 3, 2018 We scheduled an interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.
March 22, 2017 We accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. Our National Benefits Center location is working on your case."

I need  help  to understand which interview they cancelled, the one scheduled on 08-03-2018 based on  I-130/485 or the one based on I-360/485 ?
Second, can someone please let  me know as to where my I-485 file is located? Thanks

You mentioned  that on  August 3, 2018 they scheduled an interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.Did you attend that interview?

Hello everyone.
Should I respond to this response from the State Senator ?
Or is it just a courtesy letter (automatic reply)
I asked to clarify the course of my Сase.  there was also attached a file in the format to fill out, I was so tired of waiting that it seems to me that this is just a standard bylink for ALL (for any case)

If you want him to inquire USCIS on your behalf you must sign the  Privacy Act Release Form.

Hi Friends! So for my interview this week I'm trying to prep any possible papers they may request, and I remembered that a few years ago when I worked as a bartender I got a few tickets under my name for some stupid reasons like not enough fire exits at the bar I worked at etc. I went to court with a lawyer and they all got dismissed right away. So when an officer asks if I ever received citations I would have to say yes, after that could they possibly ask for proof of those being dismissed? It was NYC, I've been trying to check online, but can't seem to find anything under my name, might be looking in the wrong place.

You need to get a certified disposition showing the case was dismissed.

It's time for another joke -- this one about justice.

A man's wife was arrested for shoplifting, and she was hauled before the small-town judge.  "What did you steal?" asked the judge.

"A can of plums," the woman answered embarrassedly.

"How many plums were in the can?" asked the judge.

          "Six," responded the woman.

"In this case," said the judge, "I sentence you to six days in jail -- one for each plum."

The woman's husband then urgently whispered, "Your Honor, she also stole a can of peas!"

Hahahhaha...you are funny.

Thank you @Pinkrlion, probably i will have to do that i have never go to a counselor besides The House Of Roughs i did a few session with them. Unfortunately for the past few years i have been told that im nothing and that im a dirty immigrant and that the best thing that happen to me is meeting my ex and getting marry to him and that im lucky enough that h allowed me to stay here, and if i want to continue to be safe in this country i should listen to him and do as he ask and saying since he knows better since he is an American Citizen and if i don't do that i will regret it i will be send back to my 3 world country where i will be raped and killed. That if i call the police or ask for help i will be deported since im an immigrant and no-one cares about people like me and and that he is the best thing that will ever happen to me. And for long time i believed that and i was thinking that im the one that is doing something wrong. I was assaulted by him multiple times from him and never called the comps from fear of deportation, he finally got charged with second degree assault when his parents were witness to one of his outbreaks and called the cops.  So i want to apologies for mu stupid question it is just a lot that i have been told and made to believe

Thank you @Stillwinning!!!😊, your words are always such a beacon of hope, and i apologizes for my stupid question i have nothing to hide and i never lied to immigration it is just all the thing that i was told and made to believe that will happen to me i was always told that if it wasn't for him i will be deported, r...d killed or worst if i ask for help or if i don't do as he was asking. And that my American Citizen spouse is the only one that will keep me safe and that im lucky to have him and for me to have the privileges to stay here i have to listen and do as im told.

Thank you @sandranj you are my beacon in the dark, sorry for the stupid question, but since i was told and made believe that when i go for my interview i will be deported since im not with my spouse, and since he contacted immigration and told them that im a fake and an abuser, that i manipulated and lied my way just to get a green car, which wasn't true thats why i always worried what may or may not happen. Idk what to say without going in to details about what happen to me in the past 5 years since it was so much, from 4 restraining orders multiple violation of those RO, he hired a Private Investigator to locate me and stoke me, to basing on my door saying ICE is with him and i better let him in if i know whats good for me, from him saying how he is going to kill me harm me deport me and how i will suffer tha raft of his justice and how bad things will happen to me if i don't consider getting back together or by doin what he is asking.

And i did she is going to consult with a lawyer but she is trying to do everything without his knowledge, since he has control over her phone and internet access. Thank you @Stillwinning!!!😊   you are one amazing person ❤️☺️☺️

You should file a petition with the Court asap because your   spouse or ex-spouse violated the restraining order. He is  a danger man, and he may try to  kill you.DO NOT FORGET to ask the Court not to display your address in the Court papers.

Hello everyone, I submitted my VAWA application in November 2018.
Received my EAC by December 2018.
Renewed my EAC by December 2019.

By May 2020, I relocated to a different state before submitting a change of address through USCIS. I received an email notice that a notice was sent to my old address with 30 days to reply. I immediately contacted USCIS about the move and submitted a change of address form via mail. My new address has been updated but I never received that initial notice. I’ve sent two letters to USCIS asking them to resend that letter. It’s been almost 8 months waiting but I’ve received prema-facie and other letters sent to my new address. I even received a new EAC in December 2020 at my new address.

Wondering what the deal is with USCIS and why they didn’t resend that latter. I’m curious to know what it is.

Has anyone encountered this situation?

Contact your congressperson asap.

Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing well. I am applying for my i765 renewal and would like your help with the below questions.

what do I put for question number 25 that ask what my current immigration status is? I have a pending VAWA and i485.

what do I need to send in with the i765 renewal form? Is it just a copy of the I765 notice of action that I received with the first I765 card?

should I send it to Vermont?

I am a October 2019 filer.

Thank you all
