I-864 Household Income Question - Children's Social Security

I have sufficient income for my I-864 purposes, and don't really need this, but I wanted to ask, just in case.

I get Social Security and my 2 U.S. citizen kids also get Social Security.  I'm reading the I-864 instructions, and I don't see any way the kids social security could be counted as Household Income.  We actually do use that money for our family monthly expenses.  That is what it is for.

I don't need to include it, but others might.  How would one include a child's SS income?  Just include it in a cover letter and / or show the CO the evidence at the interview?

Add it to your other income as part of your current income.  Provide declaration letters for each Social Security benefit.

Curious what kind of SS benefit YOU get if you still have minor children.

Your profile mentions Dumaguete so perhaps you know that there are a lot of older dads in the Philippines.  I retired at 56, my daughter was born at 58 and I started SS at 62.  Kids under 18 get an SS benefit on the parent's SS account.

Great.  I knew there was an answer, just curious what it was.  Yeah, I know lots of first and second families here that started late.
