I am sponsoring green card for my parents, their I-130 is approved in April 2020, after that we realized that their passports are expiring so went ahead and renewed their passports. And planning to Apply for I-260 now. So their passport information is changed in period between I-130 approval and before I-260 application. Is there any form that I need to fill or procedure that I need to follow in order to let NVC and US Department of State know about passport change during this period and their new passport information.

Can anyone please respond and let me know what need to be done in this situation. Thanks in advance.

Thanks
krish

Thanks for responding to my question. I will fill out new information in ds-260 form, should i send a letter or something to explain that the passport has been renewed.

As I previously said,  you need do nothing until the ds260 and I meant it.

YMMV
