Question about CHILDREN on filling N-400 form

Hi everyone, 

 

Currently working on the section about "CHILDREN" 

 

My husband has 3 children age 28, 26 and 22 and they never lived with us since we live in different states. I married to my husband when the youngest is about to graduate and she lives with her mother. 

 

Should I include them on my list or is it only for kids under 18 years old? 

 

Please advise, thanks

yes,  must state all children 

mine were married and living on their own and i had to state them

thanks, my confusion begun since his kids never lived with us and I also note their age just to make sure if the step children still included no matter how old they are. My husband says they are not  consider as my step children because I have never raised them and they never lived with me at all and that's why I need to ask this forum to make sure.

Uh, no. Nowhere in the definition of stepchildren does it say anything about living with them or raising them. A stepchild is the son or daughter of your spouse. Period.

Of course 

i raised them

but this would not matter

if you give birth to a child ,  it is listed as your child on the form

u must list all kids
