Has the IO told you to file a waiver? Or you're trying to put it out well in advance because you know you'll need one?

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Hi,

It would be to put it out well in advance. I read that you could file concurrently if you know you are going to face issues but I wasn't sure what would happen if the i601 was addressed before the i130

Never heard of it done that way. Hopefully, more experienced members chime in.

It won’t be looked at until the interview.

Hi

Out of interest, what happens when you file I130 and I601 concurrently and the waiver processes quicker than the I130?

Has this happened to anyone?

Thanks

Hello interesting your case.  I would like to know why you thought you needed the I601 for overstay to avoid punishment of 3 or 10 years?   In what step are you going?  Unlike the other forum members, I have heard that they advance the forgiveness process.

I601 is filed after the interview.

No idea what you mean by advance the forgiveness process.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
