we are new here, thought i would add a post here as we filed in june also and were approved on nov 02.

previously i had registered with the ucis website for email updates, but after hearing nothing for what seemed like a lifetime, on sunday my fiance was driving past the church we are hoping to marry in when he had 'a feeling' and when he got home he checked the website to find that we had been approved 2 days previously...weeee, we are buzzing to say the least!

congrats to everyone else who has been through this and those going through this...if i only was my dog...all i would need is a rabies injection!!

Hi I am new here, I got my notice from USCIS, hard copy dated on June 27 2007 since then I did not hear from USCIS or VSC. I go online to check the status of my case pretty often but all I see in my case is that Case received and pending. How do you check if some Touched your case/files. Should this say it was Touched or do I have to call USCIS because when I call them all the do is give me basic information that I already know. I did not revice any updates from them at all. All I see when I check the status is this and nothing changed since I filed the application. So is there a way to tell if some Touched my case is it normal that they don't update anything ?

If the date changes...even if the message doesn't (and it won't change until approved or you get an RFE), that means you were "touched". Unfortuenately, it's VERY normal for them not to touch/update. I got my NOA2 via snail mail on 10/22 with an approval date of 10/18 and they didn't update the website until 11/1.

Well I logged on today and found out we got an RFE. Stupid A$$es.

we got an RFE too..huhuhuhu! Been along time of patience,,but here comes RFE NOT WORTH IT..have to wait again and again!
