Does CRIS send an email when you've been touched?

No, I didn' get anything, I checked as usually I do online the case status and couldn't believe my eyes, the date has been changed there. Then I immediately went to check the case and it said " pending" ..Some hours later I talked to my honey on a yahoo messenger and told him about the 'touch'. He checked again and told me we were approved !!! So our ' touch' meant the approval.

K-1 Visa journey:

January '04: met in the USA

21st June '07: sent the I-129

06th November '07 - APPROVED, FINALLY !!!

19th December '07:Medical

20th December '07: Interview Date

21st December '07: VISA IN HAND

18th January '08: Leaving to US !

12th February '08: received SSN

14th March '08: WEDDING DATE

AOS journey:

04th April '08: AOS package sent

11th April '08: Notice date on all 3 NOA's (15 April in the mail)

Nov 13th - Received RFE hard copy (notice date of Nov. 5th)

Nov 19th - Touch (message updated saying they mailed me a copy of RFE)

I got my NOA2 in the mail today -- says we were approved 1 November. Nothing on the website, no CRIS email, just have the hard, snail mail copy in my hand, hardly know what to say.

Wow, congratulations. So happy for you and yours. Although mine is a K-3, we have almost the same NOA1 dates. Hopefully this is a sign of better days. Go CSC and VCS
