How do I get a hold of someone other than those in customer "disservice"?

I just went through the whole menu the first time (back in June) and at the end slected to speak to a customer service rep. Today I selected for info on approvals and verified my case number and slected to speak to a customer service rep. I have the info for calling in using RFE, but I've never used it.

I cant get to customer service other than saying I have an RFE.

We called CSC today, we told them almost everyone else in our time frame already got approved. And then they said it is approved in the order it is recieved and there are people dedicated to different areas of the u.s., so it depends where the other filers live and when they sent it. Also they said since it says it was touched it is at an officer's desk. Well, I hope they won't be keeping my case for long.. I really want my NOA2 PLEASE!!

WoW...everyone is getting touched. Maybe, my adjudicator is not a touchy feely kind of person!!!! No touches except when phone calling them.

I'm not sure if the touches I recently had today 31 and yesterday 30 were from a call I made on the 29th. I hope not. The times I called before the 29th, they would touch me that day and the next...this time it was different. I guess I am just really hoping these were valid touches and not phantom touches.

I've had touches the last 3 days without calling them, I always thought that if i recieved a touch from a call it would have been for my petition going to the bottom of the pile for anoying them.

The customer disservice reps never physically touch your file. They look at it via their computers which causes an "update" (touch) you see online. So call all you want, they can't do anything to your file other than look it up in their system.

Hi everyone. I just signed up, but I've been lurking around the website for 5 months or so. I had no touches since 6/22 on my account and I check it daily. I decided to call today and to my great surprise I was told that I was approved today! It is weird that my status still has not changed on the USCIS website, but the customer service guy assured me that it was just because I was approved today and I should be receiving my notice in 1-2 weeks. Good luck to all June filers! I wish you a speedy approval!

Thanks! I just called the customer service number and did the RFE trick. Which is option 4. All I told him was my case number and my name and he told me that I was approved today. I asked him if he was sure a few times since there was no update on the USCIS website. I guess I just got lucky and got someone who was nice. I didn't have to wait long to get connected to a person either. I called around 5:30 Central time which is around 3:30 in California. Good luck to you!

We have called 3 times now and have never received a touch

I take it that means that they lied and never actually looked at the case on the computer. They just read off the sheet that they must have in front of them.

Hello everyone! I just decided to fill our time frame. We send our I -129 F at 20 of june 2007 to VSC. We got NOA1 at 10 of july, dont know why it took us that long time but anyway it is seems not to long now than what we have to wait to get NOA2. We got touched for very furst time at 14 of july and nothing since then ;-((((( Sorry for my bad english :-))) and forgive me for my mistaces. we never have dreamed to wait that long now just try be patient but we still feel so somebody stolen of our time to be together but the love is worth even to wait VSC! I called uscis today and the rep told me my case is now with an officer...
