I-129F June Filers

Okay I called back this morning. Another CS rep answered...did not willingly transfer me to an immigration officer and said he didn't know why the rep from yesterday told me that. He basically told me if we filed in June our adjudication date will fall anytime mid November but it could happen sooner. He told me ours was still showing pending. This was around noon today...I go back to work and checked the site an hour later and got the following message:

Receipt Number: WAC0720******

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On October 29, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

WOOHOOOOOOOOO!! We are approved!!!!!!! I don't know what happened within that hour, but we are approved that is the main thing.

I wish everyone luck and I continue to pray for all of us.

I got a touch today too. I don't think it was from my call yesterday because when I checked this morning it didn't show up. The last times I have called, I always got a touch within an hour or two afterwards, followed by another the next day. I hope this is a good sign and that it's not just MJ.

I do not think that USCIS is processing our packages based on their receiving dates. For me, it is like they are processing everything randomly. Still some people who filed in the beginning of May have no idea what really happened to their NOA2. And already some people who filed in even mid June began receiving NOA2. I wonder if each offer who is assigned to process our cases, they skil order or something. I totally understand that some cases have way less evidence or have really complicated cases.

I am sure you will be approved maybe tomorrow or within a few days. More and more June filers are touched, so it is very good. Even though USCIS annouced that they are delayed to process, more and more people are approved. Actually faster than estimated date on VJ. Some folks were approved 2-3 weeks earlier. So I am sure estimated date on VJ is not very reliable.

Thank you all for the congratulations. I feel we are closer now to being together. I hope that the upcoming holidays doesn't slow NVC's processing down. The rep I spoke to today said that they don't necessarily go in order...they basically are taking the easier ones first. He did give me a tidbit of info on the process to update the website processing dates saying they are suppose to be updated every two weeks. I said since I signed up online back in July they have been updated more like once per month and he said yeah that happens...he said to check by the weekend and if it isn't updated then it will be updated by the 15th. He also said that the April 12th processing date that was last and currently posted could be there even if there was only one petition still left in April to be approved. So don't lose faith. Everyone will be approved soon. Insha'allah! Oh and another thing...he said that the receipt numbers have nothing to do with order of processing.

Looks like CA is working on June filers, not Vermont though, vrom VJ stats approval ratio:

Vermont May Filers - 56%

California May Filers - 72%

Vermont June Filers - 2%

California June Filers - 18%

Nice statistics. It seems that they are done with H1B visa, so now they can focus on this K1 and K3 visas. I remember that the lawyer I always ask for help said USCIS has done with publishing H1B visa by the end of September, and from October, people with that visa can start working, so from October, pretty much officers can deal with immigration visas.
