I called again today. This time all they told me is my case is still pending. So it went from an officer to pending. What a joke. I asked him when he thinks it might be adjudicated. He says "well we are working on petitions from April now." I told him that I know for a fact people from May and June are being adjudicated. He kinda stumbled over his words. "Well...well..." Yeah, well my a$$.

hey, Jamie, I really wouldn't believe a word. It sounds like you got hold of one of the customer service reps in New Mexico who simply looks up the information available on the website --- not the service center. I mean, they gave me precisely the same answer when I called two few weeks ago.

Oh yeah, I don't believe anything. I won't until I actually see the notice. Until then, everything they say is BS.

So who was that funny joker that some time ago was predicting us June filers to get approved by today? :P

Don't know but if things had gone the way they should have before the big slow down, we should have been getting approved in September (June filers). This bites.

Jamie, I think anytime a petition is not assigned to someone its default status is "pending." That one officer probably is done with it and its back to pending status until some other officer signs off on it. The # of touches you've been getting supports my guess. I'm looking forward to your celebratory post on here.

Visa took too long, grew apart and withdrew visa after six months.

Well that´s not exactly how it works...if you read the thread of the guy who used to be an adjudicator you would know that an adjudicator has several petitions on his table and he has to scan the bar codes on all of them when he takes them and he scans it again when he goes for lunch etc...and those should all be touches...

I did read that thread. He also mentioned that it gets touched when it goes from one adjucator to another or to a superivsor. What I said makes sense given his version of the process. If it was assigned and is now "pending" with touches in between its entirely possible that the customer service rep was not lying.

Jamie, that's a lot of calls! You probably might want to back off if you believe in the rumors of getting on their naughty list. B)

you are 100% correct !!

who has time to take care of the citizens, these days. everybody, including our politicians are working for legal/illeagal immigrants. we are citizens of this country! nobody is fighting for us. we pay taxes and OUR govermental organizations should take care of our needs first, before looking into somebody's H1/Green card applications. our life is held hostage here. we want to get married and hve a family. i think that deserves higher priority.

:luv: Hey all...well I made a call to CSC this evening after work and talked to a CS rep who told me she couldnt tell me anymore than what was posted on the website that I should call back in an hour and get another CS rep on the line and ask for an immigration officer who could do a case inquiry for us (she tried to transfer me but said they weren't responding to her ring). This was at 5:30 CST and 40 minutes later at 6:10 pm I called to get a recording that the normal hours were from 8 am to 6 pm Mon-Fri  . Am I daft or was she just trying to get rid of me??? Isn't California on Pacific time...am I not an hour ahead of them??? I'm confused and frustrated again. Well the call did end up in a touch, which is the first one I've gotten since they received our petition. I will try to call again in the morning. Maybe that is a bit of information we can all try when we make our next phone calls...an immigration officer she said can look closer at our petitions and tell us if they have been assigned to a case worker and what the current status is on it as far as an adjudication date. Please let it be soon...Insha'allah! I pray for all of us that we get approved soon.

Hugs everyone!

Asiya
