I think it is safe to say that we should go by what USCIS write on the NOA1. If the NOA1 says CASE RECIEVED AND PENDING ON JUNE ##, 2007 then that what we should go by, correct? Or am I wrong?

I'm basing my dates on that, because I sent my 129-F May 23, 2007 to NSC, they received on the May 25th, and USCIS says that CASE WITH CSC AND RECIEVED AND PENDING ON JUNE 8.

So since June 8th we have been waiting…

But all the couples approved so far - who have NOA1 June dates - actually filed in early mid May and likely have some kind of other date when processing begun, likely a May date. Someone else implied this.

So going by those NOA1 dates seems unwise. That would be mean that we have the same chance as folks who sent it their petitions much earlier and were then transferred, thus getting a NOA1 date closer to ours.

If this is not the case, I expect to see more June NOA1s approved soon, inc. those who sent their petitions straight to CSC.

Things are both clearer and more confused now that I´ve found two threads discussing this issue.

Basically they tell me that no June filers have been approved yet and that we are in fact May filers by the hair of our chinny, chin chin.

I sent letters about how long this is taking to my senators. Does anyone think it would help to notify the media? Or maybe that would be a waste of time.

Okay I feel stupid...I have been reading and I just found out that the notice date on the NOA1 is what we are supposed to be going by not the date on that we received this? Is this right? If so, then that would put my love and I one week closer than I was thinking. Yay! My Notice date on the NOA1 is June 26th, the USCIS site says June 30th and I received the hard copy on July 6th. I'm sooooooo confused!

Well let's hope for everyone's sake that more approvals start to roll in...those of us who filed in May have been more than patient (and some impatient), but not much good news recently...only a few approvals so far this week and they're for people who filed in mid-May...

I had a touch today!!!!! I did call CSC yesterday so it's probably from that, but it sure looks better than June 13 (my only other touch). MAYYYYYYBEEEEE----JUST MAAAAYYYYBEEE WE WILL BE APPROVED SOON, always the patient ones, Alane & Ramzis
