Yes, this is looking good indeed.

BUT I also noticed that 3 out of the recent June NOA2 approvals were transferees from NSC to CSC. This means they sent their petitions a bit earlier than those of us who sent them directly to CSC. Other approvals seems to have sent their petitions by snail mail since it took a month from that date to NOA1.

This makes me wonder

I keep reading that NOA1 dates are what count, that this is what USCIS goes by when they say that the process in the order received. But the above cases leave me

Is it a coincidence that only June NOA1s, who were either transferred from elsewhere or sent the petitions in early May are being approved?

In other words, those of us who sent it off in late May using FedEx or whatever, and have the SAME NOA1 dates as those approved, are still waiting.

Have I misunderstood something? Shouldn't folks with similar NOA1 dates have a similar chance of being approved?

USCIS, or perhaps better put CSC, seems to be taking date of receipt/transfer into account and not NOA1. If so, why do we focus on it so much?

I think it is the date received by the first USCIS centre which is used for processing purposes. This is fairer for those people who had to have their petitions transferred to CSC.

17th March 2010 - Started the removal of conditions process

22nd March 2010 - Application received by CSC

30th April 2010 - Biometrics appointment

I'm not sure when Nebraska got mine but our petition was sent in on June 4th. I'll say it takes a week to get there to be on the safe side. That means our received date is June 11th. I wonder if we will be coming up towards the end of this month.

I think it is safe to say that we should go by what USCIS write on the NOA1. If the NOA1 says CASE RECIEVED AND PENDING ON JUNE ##, 2007 then that what we should go by, correct? Or am I wrong?

I'm basing my dates on that, because I sent my 129-F May 23, 2007 to NSC, they received on the May 25th, and USCIS says that CASE WITH CSC AND RECIEVED AND PENDING ON JUNE 8.

So since June 8th we have been waiting…
