I made the call today using the "RFE trick" and had great sucess. No problem getting through to Vermont. Here are the steps I followed:

Call 1-800-3755283

2, then 2, then 4, then 2, then 1, then put in your case number ( EAC AND THE NUMBER OR WAC AND THE NUMBER) then 1, and last 1....the last one will connect you with a live operator...then you say you are calling to inquire about the RFE ( request for evidence ) you got, baically you want to know what they are looking for. They will probably say that they havent issued one and thats when you ask what is the status of your case...say some dumb things like..." someone told me that after a certain amount of time waiting it meant that i have an RFE" or " My lawyer told me i had an RFE" say anything to make them think that you are not playing a trick on them.

The lady told me they are now actually moving May and June K1's, hopefully no mre than 30 days more, for NOA2.

Hope this helps.

That's awesome news. You made my weekend. I hope that works out.:dance:

CSC received our petition on June 20 ...received our NOA1 on July 6 still waiting for NOA2. I am hoping Kamel will be here before January 28th, which is the date we want to marry...and our 2 year anniversary since we met online. I am keeping all of you in our prayers. May we all be with our loves soon...insha'allah!! :luv:

I was wondering.... I called in a request to ask that my fiance's last name be corrected. The way I filled out the petition is slightly different than the official english translation of her last name. basically her name has 2 S's instead of 1. The lady on the phone saiid she went ahead and changed it and would be sending me a letter for proof of the change. Then UCSIC has sent me a letter saying that "if there is an error with the beneficiarys name" I have to send in an official document like her original birth cert. or her passport!! :( Which is obviously far away with her right now. I don't want to risk getting either of those documents lost by having them sent all around the world by post. My mom said it was not a big deal because the consulate in Turkey will understand and the spelling is almost identical except for one additional S in her last name. Im really worried and Im not sure if this gonna cause problems....and I really hope it doesn't slow or stop the progression for her approval.

Yeah, I noticed a couple of early June filers get NOA2. But they were all from CSC so I'm worried about VSC not making any movement. I hope things get moving soon.

Hi everyone, we are also June filers but only joined this site recently. It wasn´t such a torture at the beginning cuz it was like "Ok we filed, so now we wait about 100 days till something happens". So we marked it in the calendar. 100 days will pass at the end of this week. Before, we would take a look at our case online once in a while just to see if anything was happening there. Mainly also cuz we haven´t received NOA1. Therefore we also called them a couple of times. But we haven´t had any touches. So since this week it´s gonna be 100 days we started watching the online status several times a day and started reading lots of the stories on VJ (some of them are really optimistic which is great, some of them are very sad and sorry to hear that guys - wish everything worked out well for everyone). We named this week the watch week  But also since we read so much stuff and saw the graphs and all, looks like the watch week will turn into at least a watch month if not more. So we just wanted to wish everybody a speedy process and we wish everybody´s watch month will turn into a watch week :dance:

It´s weird  it´s like no approvals are coming through...or almost none...not sure what to think about that...I would imagine if they have one employee, they do one or two approvals a day...but I guess they have more than one employee...are there other things that are keeping them busy?

We are early May filers and we were approved at the 135 day mark. Unfortunately, I don't think it's getting any better. I wish you guys the best of luck and I hope you will get yours pushed thru faster. Now we wait for NVC to receive our case, it's been 18 days since approval and NVC has yet to receive it.
