Well I called today Just because....And the woman was very nice....She informed me that we were pending and had not been assigned. She also said that I was received on June 13th and to expect another 2 to 3 months.

So I hope that someone else hears something better then I do and NOA2's start coming soon.

So here is my question, if she pointed out that they got my case on the 13th of June but my NOA2 was the 22nd which is a week different lol Does that mean I will fall in the 2nd week or the 3rd week of people to get assigned?

Thank you

Ameena

Two to 3 months? That doesn't sound too far fetched the way they are approving petitions.

I made the call today using the "RFE trick" and had great sucess. No problem getting through to Vermont. Here are the steps I followed:

Call 1-800-3755283

2, then 2, then 4, then 2, then 1, then put in your case number ( EAC AND THE NUMBER OR WAC AND THE NUMBER) then 1, and last 1....the last one will connect you with a live operator...then you say you are calling to inquire about the RFE ( request for evidence ) you got, baically you want to know what they are looking for. They will probably say that they havent issued one and thats when you ask what is the status of your case...say some dumb things like..." someone told me that after a certain amount of time waiting it meant that i have an RFE" or " My lawyer told me i had an RFE" say anything to make them think that you are not playing a trick on them.

The lady told me they are now actually moving May and June K1's, hopefully no mre than 30 days more, for NOA2.

Hope this helps.

gosh! i just called uscis twice. on my first call, a fil-am answered my call and she said that they are working on march filers.

and then, on my second attempt, i tried the rfe trick and they said, another fil-am answered my call and she said that she cannot give any information to me since i'm not the petitioner. so, i just asked her on what month they are working on. she said, february? i don't know if i should believe her coz you know, i saw from the uscis website that csc is already working on march filers.

any thoughts on this?

From what I know, this is a "script" they are told to tell us...they may in fact still be working on some Feb or March petitions that had RFEs or missing info.

But the bulk of what they are working now are May filers.....keep it up CSC. and VSC...
