Hello June filers,

First off I wish the best for everyone's process.

I am a little concerned that reading everyone elses timelines that it seems that your forms have been "touched" in the last month. As for mine, I got the NOA1 on 06/15/07, via checking it at the USCIS website. Apparently, it hasn't been touched since 06/20/07. That's about a month and a half since any activity. Should I be concerned of how slow my process is going?

It's is currently at the CSC.

I'm sorry for the question, and please excuse me this is my first post.

I have never received a hard copy of the NOA1. I got the case number off the back of our check. Our last and only touch was on 6/13/07. This I know---our petition is in the sytem, I can access my information online---so we WAIT!!! :wacko::blink::wacko:

9/5/2004 met

7/4/2006 visited for 1 week in Russia (Independence Day!)

12/26/06 three week visit in the U.S.

4/6/07 He came to US for 6 glorious weeks

5/20/07 He returned to Ufa, RU

5/24/07 Mailed I-129F to NSC!!!!!

5/25/07 Received and signed for by F Heinauer, NSC

6/11/07 NOA1 (NEVER received hard copy)

8/23/07 Ramzis comes to America for another visit

10/02/07 Ramzis returns to Russia

11/06/07 NOA2 at LAST!!!

12/17/07 Received at NVC (at last!)

12/18/07 Sent to Moscow Embassy & New NVC Case Number

12/21/07 Received at 11:08 a.m. Moscow Embassy

1/25/08 Received packet from Embassy

03/07/08 Interview 8:00 a.m. Moscow Embassy! VISA APPROVED!!!

03/13/08 Visa in Hand

03/14/08 Flying to U.S. - Detroit POE

03/15/08 Our Wedding Day!

3/21/08 - Packet sent to Chicago Lockbox

3/24/08 - Packet received and signed for

3/28/08 - NOA1 received in the mail - EAD & AOS - check cashed

4/15/08 - Biometrics

5/5/08 - AOS interview notice received in the mail (will be in Detroit, June 12, 2008)

6/2/08 - EAD card ordered (CRIS email)

6/5/08 - EAD RECEIVED IN THE MAIL

6/12/08 - Permanent Resident APPROVAL! Green Card on the Way!

6/23/08 - Green Card Received!!!

February 13th 2008 - Packet 4 received

March 4th 2008 - Medical @ 1.00pm

March 5th 2008 - INTERVIEW @ 10.00am - APPROVED!!

March 11th 2008 - Visa received!

April 30th 2008 - Flying home at last!!!!! (POE: Dulles - Washington DC)

July 12th 2008 - Wedding date!

There are still a fair amount of May filers that haven't gotten their NOA2 yet. I'm thinking our turn (June filers) won't come around until mid September.

Right now the government is processing people in mid april or so. The latest issues of NOA2 are in this time frame.

Right now the government is processing people in mid april or so. The latest issues of NOA2 are in this time frame.

Yea, I had a talk with USCIS last week, and there is a huge spike in apps for June and into July so we are developing contengency plans for a Dec NOA2 (with holidays and all) and getting her here in Feb '08. That would be more realistic for us. So we are planning accordingly.

Package sent from USCIS to NVC Nov 7. (called USCIS to get this)

Nov 15, I got email at 6:57pm that our package was sent to Rio from NVC.

DON"T WAIT FOR THEM TO SEND ANYTHING, CALL AND MAKE SURE THEY GOT IT.

IF THEY DO, GO AHEAD AND SEND IN ds230,ds2001, the pics, and copy of passport

USE SEDEX AND GET THE TRACKING NUMBER.

Interview Set: Jan 29. Found this out on the embassy website under VISA's. It shows a list of visa types including K1 and shows the interview dates.

Visa granted but they mailed it using their own package delivery service. Took a week. Have money when you go to the appointment. They may also make you go and get more photos taken if they dont like the pics you bring. Just relax and dress wark because they keep the place really cold. Make sure your financials mmet the criteria or they will eat you alive.

MARRIED March 22. Sent in $1,010 in fees to Chicago to get change of status, apply for advanced parole, and ability to work documentation. Things work faster now.

May 22'08: Biometrics appointment in Santa Barbara.

I'm not sure where they are seeing the spike. It hasn't showed up here in the numbers of petitions filed. Six months to NOA2? I don't believe anything they say and take it with a pretty large grain of salt.

07/02/07---- TOUCHED and it conformed they received my Mail on 06/25/07 at CSC!

One thing to remember is that the CSC processes many other apps besides the 129f that were sent in to beat the rate hike. Unfortunately the things they post online is not at all reliable, they will tell you that. cb

My adjudicated date changed to october 28th :crying: This is getting very depressing.

I wonder why rates were raised. I am sure it wasn't to help speed things up.
