We were approved this week, july 22. We sent our application dec 7 and have a receipt date of dec 8. We actually didn't receive the notice until February. So it does appear that your noa2 is based on

Agreed and since they are backdating the reciept date to the date they received the package that means that we shouldn’t have to wait that long for NOA2.

Do you all believe they will hold on to your application if your spouse resides in one of the restricted COVID countries i.e. South Africa, UK, China?

12/11/20: I-129F delivered to Dallas Lockbox (Lewisville)

2/25/21: I-129F fee charged to bank account

Everyone just checked my bank account and a charge from USCIS is there. I'm not going to lie was getting a bit nervous that I would not get the NOA1.

12/9/20: I-129F packet shipped via UPS

12/11/20: I-129F delivered to Dallas Lockbox (Lewisville)

12/11/20: Backdated I-129F "received date"

2/25/21: I-129F fee charged to bank account

02/28/21: Text alert with receipt # received

03/06/21: Mailed I-797C Notice of Action received

Grats to those seeing their checks cashed and getting NOA1s!!!

 

USCIS has been ploughing through December this week. A whole bunch of Dec 21 were done yesterday and today I am also seeing a smattering of Dec 24. At this rate they could be through most of the December filers by early-mid next week! If they do January as fast . . . fingers crossed!

 

On a side note, I am seeing a few stragglers from November here and there.

Does anyone know the connection between the NOA1 being uploaded to their system and us getting the text? Does it happen straight away? Similarly, do they cash the check days before the NOA1 is uploaded? My petition was received 12/10/2020 but no text yet.
