I DIDNT ASK WHATS NEXT. I saw someone with a later NOA2 date getting moved along quicker and mentioned that I will call again to see if something happened with my case since I called. Good for you for helping other people but my post didn't warrant your reply.

I have never complained. I didn't even ask a question. I didn't need your help nor did I ask for it. Again, I made an observation about the different timelines. I did read the PDF fully. I've looked through my specific country's forum. I've now requested to close my account

Ok. Then I won't be there to help. bye.

Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.

I sent an E-mail to Ankara Embassy and asked them to request my case from NVC

They replied me like this

It seems that I should request it from NVC. Should I send the request immediately or wait for next shipment 21 Jan ( according the 2020 shipping timetable) ?

The shipping schedule is not being used at this time, but I am not 100% sure as no one has reported when their file has shipped. Send an email using the askNVC.gov

The procedure that you should follow is an email via asknvc.gov and put in the request the following information via the Public Inquiry Form

- Go to NVC.state.gov/inquiry

- Fill out the necessary information

- In the box titled “Type your question below” state your request.

That should do it. Good luck and stay engaged in the process.

Thanks for your reply.

I sent an E-mail via asknvc and inquiry. I attached my E-mail to the embassy and their response, too. But the problem is after submitting there in no message like: your inquiry was successful or something like that. It got back to the same inquiry page. I am not sure if it has been delivered to them or not.

If you sent it using the asknvc you must trust the process. They received it. Now it's a matter of them drafting a reply and you waiting for the reply.

Hello @Naz2020

I also send an email to the Abu Dhabi -US Embassy and I got a response like this below:

I’m not sure about the message though. It’s a bit confusing 🤐

A little bit of confusion here.  There are instructions on the NVC webpage when we check our case status that says that the NVC will not schedule an interview before fees are paid (processing fee and AOS fee) and the AOS is complete.  It also says we need to pay these fees and send forms before the NVC will process our case.  Furthermore the NVC website says that the fees cannot be paid at the embassy but need to be paid online.  But the instructions from the Kyiv Embassy says specifically not to send the AOS forms to the immigrant desk and to bring the fee to the interview.  Which one is correct or is both true?  Thanks.

This is addressed in the PDF file found on the first post on the first page of this thread. What you are seeing is something that is generic in nature and is addressed to "immigrant' visa applications. Technically you are a "non-immigrant" so it doesn't pertain to you but to CR-1/IR-1 visa applicants. You follow the directions that you receive from your embassy (P3 letter). Ignor the response and keep moving in the right direction.

The reply that you received is directed to those who have a CR-1/IR-1 visa application. The person who "authored" your reply was confused in what you were after hence, this generic reply to your request. Ignor the response and keep moving in the right direction.

Thank you for your help and comment @Greenbaum

I was in the impression that the people in the US Embassy Abu Dhabi  would know what type of visa I was applying from my case number. Maybe I should wait for one week and then sent another email stating I am on a K-1 visa

That's the "unknown" about this process we really don't know if something was received, understood, and replied to. Just must have patience and tenacity when working within this system. The system does work, and you can let it play out without calling, texting, emailing or whatnot in your pursuit in getting your visa. Many have just said, I'll wait to hear from them and low and behold it arrived as "advertised". That's why I say, "they only promised you a yes or no answer". Keep your course.

That is for CR-1/IR-1 "immigrant" visa. You are pursuing a "non-immigrant" visa but under the umbrella of "immigrant" until such time as the visa is issued then it reverts to a "non-immigrant with immigration intent". Any reference such as the one you are replying to should be ignored. Further information can be found in my replies to @RishDan.

As a K1, when checking your case online at CEAC.state.gov you have to select "immigrant visa" as it is treated like as such even though it is a "non-immigrant visa".

Technically the K-1 is a non-immigrant visa, but it is treated like an immigrant visa because of the AOS. It is kind of a ba$tard. Non-immigrant treated like an immigrant. Other non-immigrant visas do not usually end up with green cards!  The K-1 on its own is a single entry, brief time limit visa that expires 90 days after POE. You are a non-immigrant (90 days limit) with immigrant intentions (GC). That is why it is a non-immigrant visa treated like an immigrant visa.
