I would do the RFE trick to get your respective service center to see if it left the building. I called the CSC and they told me it was moved to the loading area. It took 8 days after approval to leave for the NVC. After a week I called NVC everyday and they hadn't recieved it. Then one day (the next day again) I called and they not only recieved it but it was sent to the embassy. So be alittle patient. Also , to my suprise the embassies do not produce the interview dates the DOS does. You can call them (202-663-1225) to see when your interview is scheduled. Good luck all!!!!

There is no number for the CSC. You get directed to them when you inquire about your RFE you never got. You need to enter your receipt number so they know what SC to direct you too. The 202 number is the State Department.

humm ok, I´ll give it a try.

All they can answer is if it went to the NVC already, is that right?

They cant give me the case # or tell me if it has been sent to the consulate, can they?

You are right... USCIS and NVC ae two different animals with two different databases that are not integrated or shared.

YMMV

No, they can only tell you if it left for the NVC. You get your case number from the NVC.

humm they talk a lot huh???

what´s the steps to take to talk to a person???

I mean what number to dial?

1-800-375-5283. You press the prompt that asks "did you receive(regarding) a letter from us requesting additional info", then it asks you (it might be before this part of the sequence, I dont remember) if you know your reciept #, press for yes, then enter it, then this should transfer you to your service center. Then you can ask them if you were approved, did it leave for the NVC, etc...

I used this method 3 times. 1, to find out we were approved. 2, to see if it left, was told it was moved to loading area and 3, I was told it left the NVC.

P.S. The USCIS never updated my approval, only after I called to find out I was already approved did it update.

you have to dial 1 - 880 - 375 - 5283

so you wont use the toll free (because it only works when calling from us)

anyway... we have to press the letters of our case number as well?

like WAC = 922? or not?

do we have to press a number or symbol when we´re done dialing?

I´m lost! =/
