sad and tragic for that youngster

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

That's terrible. I hope she makes it out alright.

I read an article recently where a roller coaster ride in the US lost power while the cars still had the passengers upside down... took them a half-hour to rescue everyone. Hearing about these "malfunctions" makes me never want to go to an amusement park again.

Nini - Vancouver BC, Canada (she's the one who does the forum thing)

Bee - Devon PA, USA (he's the one who gave her the shiny ring)

Getting our sanity tested by bureaucracy since 2007.

Here we go again...

I've been to those theme parks a few times and am slightly disturbed to see parents not taking notice of the minimum height signs for some of the rides.

Half expect to see the rollercoasters pull in without the kids...

As sad as I am about the poor girl, it won't stop me riding roller coasters. I'm a bit of an addict when it comes to them. I went to DisneyLand Paris a couple of years ago and totally embarrassed my son by yelling, screaming and basically acting like I was 12 myself on the rides.

When you've been on Space Mountain Mission 2 five times in fifteen minutes (it was off peak!) and your son says "no more please Mum!"...well, you know you have a problem!

Poor girl! :(

I have always enjoyed amusment park rides, however I sometimes worry about the safety.

D is a junkie on coasters and things like that. I'm a wuss.

When we went to Uni Studios Islands of Adventure, he vetted each ride first before I would go on it. Was trying to be a good sport about it so I got out of my comfort zone. Some of the rides were ridiculous and I got really ill...esp on Dueling Dragons when we rode both sides one after the other.

But they had a ride like this one there, and it was the only ride I refused to go on. Dunno if it's still there. Dr Doom Drop or summat.

Any more news on this girl's condition? I'm thinking an above the ankle is more difficult to reattach????
