Hi everybody,

I have crossed into USA (Air Canada Flight from Toronto to Fl), last October since these restrictions. The official asked me:

1.    What is the purpose of my visit?

2.    How long will I be in USA?

3.    When I am coming back?

4.    If I have something to declare?

She did not asked for any single document, even though I carried my Marriage Certificate, she stamped my passport, and she authorized me to stay until April 21, 2021 (curiosly I got married on April 21, almost 3 yrs ago). Immigration has been a nightmare, the worst in my life!

For all who are traveling to USA in holidays, I suggest: be confident, be ready with documents in case, and also remember there are any exemption which include: Any foreign national who is the spouse of a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (we are an exemption).

Blessings!

There is zero* restriction for Canada to US air travel. The restriction is specifically for land/ferry entry: https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2020/11/23/2020-25865/notification-of-temporary-travel-restrictions-applicable-to-land-ports-of-entry-and-ferries-service "this Notification does not apply to air, freight rail, or sea travel between the United States and Canada, but does apply to passenger rail, passenger ferry travel, and pleasure boat travel between the United States and Canada."

So a regular Canadian tourist can also fly into the US at this time.

*Those that have been present in Schengen Area, UK, Ireland, Brazil, mainland China, or Iran in the 14 days preceding US entry face travel restrictions if not exempt. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/News/visas-news/presidential-proclamation-coronavirus.html

Obviously travelling in these Covid times is a major issue.

Lets be honest, the issue really isn't crossing into the USA.  It's going the other way.  I'm still worried about how long I need to take off work to attend my daughter's graduation in May.

Difficult to know what the situation will be next month, May is anybody's guess.

I know. It's just so important.
