How long did it take for USCIS to cask your check for form I-751? Its almost a month and I havent heard anything

took me 7 days but a month is about normal now.

Pre-Covid, 2019, it took us about 4 days for check to be cashed.  Now, it could take a few weeks.

anything up to 60 days in not unusual especially in 2020

We are about ready to send in the I-751 form. I am a little confused about the correct fee to pay. Do I need to include the biometric fee?

Some said the biometric may be waived due to COVID. Also is it safe to pay by credit card? What if the transaction gets declined for unknown reasons?

Credit card is fine.  Include Biometrics fee.....

Biometrics fee must be included for the filing to be accepted.

 

If you get the reuse notice, it clearly says: "The biometrics fee will not be refunded."

HQRX, your form is dated in 2017 quite a while back.

I know USCIS don't refund money and I heard some of the recent applicants got their biometric requirements waived.

If they waive the biometric, will they refund the $85?

No. The relevant wording on the reuse notice remains the same. "The biometrics fee will not be refunded."

It has been a month since we sent in the i-751 application and we haven't received any email acknowledgement.

Also the check has not been cashed. I tried to call USCIS but no one there to pick up it seems.

Do they have a support email box? Will they reply?

Looking at the November and December threads, they are lagging a lot behind. Packages that were received by the lockbox 11/13 seem to have been processed, not sure about 11/16. You are welcome to join us in the November or December I-751 filers thread to get up-to-date information. Both have links to Google spreadsheets where filers update their progress.

 

Before our check was cashed and before a case number was generated, I did get a lockbox e-mail address from USCIS contact center. However, I didn’t even bother to e-mail them knowing that any reply would take up to 30? days.
