Need Advice

Hello All,

 

So my finance received an expedited appointment on September 30th. He was approved and had to submit new medicals. Those medicals along with his passport was submitted to the embassy on October 13th. Our case was moving along everyday the dates were moving. Our case has now been stuck in this position since the 6th of November. I have emailed the embassy and they say they are still processing. I am just confused as this was expedited and we are not in administration processing. The visa issuance should be about 10 business days...  We are way beyond that point. I don't know what to do at this point.  Any suggestions... In normal circumstances I would just wait but my expedited was approved for a reason because the situation is dire...

Expedite request does not stop AP.  What country are your from?

 

Expedite just only placed you at the front of the line, it does not absolve you from normal processing requirements.

I am not in AP...... Nigeria.... the normal processing is about 10 business days start to finish ... from the this forum once it switches to an nonimmigrant status it’s close to the finish line but we have been stuck in application received... it says two business days a status update but clearly we are out of that time frame as well....
