We just arrived from the AOS interview, They took my wife's I-94, she's been on tourist visa....then asked for a police clearance report? what is this for? We didn't get any indication if we were approved or not :angry: :angry: :angry: I'm very anxious

I can only tell you that, as part of the K1 process, we needed police clearance from the UK before we could get the visa. I imagine that what they need is police reports from your wife's country stating that she has no criminal record etc. It was pretty easy for met o get one - I went to the local police dept, filled in a form, paid a small fee, and they sent me one from both Scotland and England (since I lived in both places) and it was a 1 page letter that basically said there were no records of me in any police files.

Maybe some more info from you can be helpful. Please update your timeline too.

What exactly does the notice say? Did the adjudicating officer ask anything specific from your Filipina wife, like the NBI clearance? And did your wife reside in another country longer than 6 months or used several residence addresses while in her country?
