Old valid Combo card will be void after getting new Combo card extension?

Hello, I am outside USA right now with my Combo Card that is still valid till Feb 2021. Today, my husband received in the mail my new Combo Card (Extension) with validity of Nov 2020 to Nov 2021. Question is: Is my old Combo card still valid even after getting a new card and can I use the old card to re enter the US this December or should I have my husband send me the new card now? Thank you!
