biometrics appointment question - ASC ROC

My wife received the I-797c letter to appear for a biometrics appointment in Tucson in December.

From what I understood for identification she could bring her driver's license as an ID in place of her passport?  I ask because her Mexican passport expired a year ago (the one she used in Juarez when she got her CR-1) approved.  I just want to make sure what I understood from the letter is correct.  She also has a Mexican National ID that also proves her Mexican Nationality.  She is removing conditions.

Thank you

Just went to the fingerprint clearance today at USCIS in Tucson. She was in and out before the official start of her appointment. Easy and smooth process.

How long did you waited before receiving the letter for the appointment? I have been waiting since June for the appointment?
