I checked my status today and saw new update.  Yay

04/21/2021: I-485 Interview Was Scheduled

That’s awesome ! Congrats 🍾

On my end, nothing new, spoke to someone at USCIS via the live chat and they said I had no appointment scheduled for biometrics yet but I was on the “waiting list” or whatever they called it. It’s been 6 months but I don’t believe sending a request will change anything. I think they are doing their best with the delays they have to deal with. May will be my time !

I hope some of you have better luck 😬

Thank you! Yeah it looks like November filers are having movement on their cases now, let's hope everyone start getting their bios scheduled soon.

Not sure if it'll make any difference but I put in a SR for I131 for being outside of normal processing times, figured no harm in trying!  I hope (& wish) more of us start getting biometrics letters soon!

Did it change anything? Do they answer when you submit this?

I decided not to do it but mannn the wait is long !! In about a week I think I will live chat again to see what's up.

Unfortunately, nothing new to report, no response yet to the SR either - the automated email said to they have until 5/18 to respond.. not holding my breath though .. lol

I just came back from my bio appointment. Officers were pretty nice and they let me go in at 8 am when my appointment was at 9 am. We were just 5 people in line to have bio.

I had my interview today. The IO was a nice lady. She asked my wife her name and DOB and my parents name. After that she asked me my wife's parents name. She asked us how we met. Then, she asked those Yes/No questions and that was it.  I gave her some new documents ( joint lease, car insurance , utilities bill etc.) She said everything looked good and verbally approved it. Later I saw the status for I-485 was changed to " New card is being produced"

Yesterday my status changed to case is ready for an interview, 3 days after bio. I guess they are going to skip my EAD/AP 😢

Congrats!  If I may ask, which ASC did you do your biometrics at?
