They will hold Presidency, House and Senate.

no excuses for what?

even IF they both win, those issues are non starters

and again, still 10 votes short of a supermajority

The Republicans already have 50 votes in the Senate right now. If the Democrats win both seats in GA it will still be 50/50

ok explain to me how you get 60 votes to pass this legislation with 50 democrats in the senate. 2 of which are already on record as opposing simple majority cloture.

You don't think that they will blow up the filibuster? I think they will blow up the filibuster, pack the courts, and pass this god awful legislation

this addresses that.

Manchin and Synema are already on record opposing it.

there is not that much support for packing the courts, there are much simpler ways of dealing with the courts that dont involve adding more judges

you also seem to think that the legislation would be supported by everyone. again, you are making assumptions based on things that are not factual. even if cloture was at a simple majority, people like Manchin do not support any of it, so it would fail.

there is literally no one who really knows what or if any sort of reparations are or what form that would take, much less any sort of widespread support of it. anyone who says they know  for sure is lying and is an uninformed moron.

Did you not watch the debates?

you are stretching it.

again, there is no consensus as to what reparations entail.

at best, people are just talking about it and what exactly that means.

if anything comes of it (and i dont think it will), it would be years away, like past Biden's time on this mortal coil, probably past mine too.

none of them will support simple majority cloture either to give democrats that much power.😉

even less to support big democratic legislation, you may peel off a handful, but well short of 60

You are missing the point,we know that Biden is an old school racist, however promises have been made and  the Dems will be held accountable by BLM if they do not come through.

That is exactly what I am banking on when I plan on running in 22. The combination of Biden backlash by the Right, and the total disillusionment with the Democrats because they don't totally adhere to the Progressive/BLM message.

Edit. I know that is counter to what I said before but I do think they (Biden/Harris) will try to implement some stuff and will ultimately not get it done. So this will drive the disillusionment from the Left

Seems they have no intention of even partially adhering to the Progressive mantra.
