For those interested in adding your names to the lawsuit, you can Google about Milligan v Pompeo round 3 to find that information from the attorney site. The deadline to join is February 15th.  We are here to share information and make people aware of such option, not attempting to sell or advertise for a service.

It's worth mentioning that there were discussions about including unmarried couples for exception to the travel ban I believe two separate times during the white house briefings. But they only said they will look into that option.

That would be amazing if that were to happen. 😍

So for those who went through with the lawsuit, how did they even get in the country? If they were under the ban, the issuing of the visa doesn’t give them freedom to enter the country iirc, so did they quarantine somewhere else for 14 days? I’m just confused on how they got physically into the country

Plaintiffs were quarantining in a nonbanned country for 14 days before entering the US. From what I've heard I think quite a few of them stayed in Mexico.

Yes they did. In countries like Mexico or Turkey.

I've heard that too. I think most people did Mexico out of everyone I've heard of.

I'll most likely go to Guatemala, though. My fiancé is from there and his mom has a townhouse that I can stay at for free. She'll be going down there to visit at the end of next month, so if I have the visa by then (which I hope considering I did the new medical yesterday and had the interview last year right before everything shut down) the plan is for me to time my trip so that we'll be there at the same time. ✈️

Does anyone know if we can join even though our case has just reached NVC and hasn't been "delayed" per se but we still wont be able book an interview due to the proclamation. Just curious because from what I've seen the plaintiffs have been ones who have booked their interviews or been stuck since early 2020.

I don't think that should be a problem since you're affected by the proclamations.
