hi

if it's only to visit, you can't petition her or sponsor her, she needs to apply for a tourist visa on her own merits

now if you want to file a petition to come live in the US, then you file the i130. read the instructions

Hello all,

I am an USC.I want to sponsor mother to visit US.

What docs I need to submit from mother side?

I will wait for reply.

You cannot sponsor a tourist.  She will have to qualify by completing a DS-160.  You can help her in completing the form, but that is all you can do.  Good luck.

Hi,

You can not sponsor your mother to visit the US.  There is no sponsorship for a visitor visa.

Your mother needs to fill out the DS-160 to apply for a visitor visa.  All she needs is info from her passport.

Unfortunately, the US Embassy/Consulate in India may not be processing visitor visas due to COVID.  You will need to check on that.

Your mother would have to fill out the DS160 to apply for a B2 tourist visa.  You can certainly assist her in filling out the form online, but she will have to apply based on her own merits.

Your mom can list you under person who is paying for trip, but that is about as far as it goes. The bigger issue in approval will be for her to show ties to India.

I don’t think US consulates in India are current open for routine B visa appointments.

there is nothing to sponsor. you fill out the visitor visa forms for the consulate. she appears for interview and they either issue or deny visa.
