Hi everyone,

First of all, apologies to all for my lack of computer skills! Took me all day just to figure out why I couldn't post a new message and my hubby (Malcolm) had to do all the whotnot with the photos-yes I am that clueless!

Anyway, I've been reading a lot of posts for a few months now and trying to get the gist of it all (not much success!) and I have to say how helpful and great it's been to read of others experiences and advice. You guys on the UK forum especially have helped a lot just by me reading about you all.

I haven't filed for DCF in London for Malcolm yet as we're in the process of applying for Consular Report of Birth Abroad and US passports for our two boys first.

Nice to know you guys are here. Sure I'll be back soon.

Jenni

I put this in the New Members forum as well so hope it's ok to stick it in here too?

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome, much appreciated!

I was wondering if there was somewhere I could go to find out what all the acronyms stand for? I know most of them but some I'm not too sure of eg. EAD?

Mariadane- I'm not sure where you originally lived?

Niagaenola-I'm living in Coldstream (Malcolms hometown) in the Borders but born in Texas. Did I fill out my personal info wrong!?! Where is Arbroath?

Thanks again

My wife went on a trip with her church to Arbroath (I have friends there as well, I like Arborath) from White Inch, Glasgow. The pastor decided to play a little trip by sticking smokies into everyones heater vents. You can imagine how bad the drive home was.
