Hey guys!  I applied to AOS here in FL and received my receipt notice at the beginning of October.  I had flown here in June because of the land border being closed therefor my car is still back in Canada with my family. My question is; do I need to wait for my travel document to go back to get my car? At this time even if the land border is closed will I still be able to drive back over since I will have my travel document/AOS forms? Also approx when will I be receiving the travel document? 
 Any other suggestions on how I can get my car here?

If you leave the US prior to receiving an approved I-131 advance parole document or a Green Card, you will abandon your adjustment of status.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Yes I am aware.  That’s why I’m asking for suggestions on how to get my car here

You are aware?  "My question is; do I need to wait for my travel document to go back to get my car? ".  My answer: Yes, you do.  The closed land crossing looks like a big obstacle, too.

I doubt it.  I guess it depends on their definition of essential travel.  Good luck.

You could have your car shipped to you by a broker, I think that would be the fastest option.  With the current restrictions, until you receive your green card, I do not think you will be able to enter by land from Canada to the US.  The border is only open to citizens and permanent residents. See: https://help.cbp.gov/s/article/Article-1596?language=en_US

You might want to call CBP if there are other realistic ways
