Hey guys, well I was supposed to have my interview on July 13th for my AOS. I got a Notice of Action from USCIS 3 days ago saying that they canceled my interview! :crying: Anywho, tomorrow I have an InfoPass appointment at my local DO (Los Angeles), I am thinking about asking them if first, they have my paperwork there or still at the MSC, and asking them if my namecheck is complete, and at the end ask them if they have a reason why my interview was canceled. Has anyone had their interview canceled and then made an InfoPass appointment? How much information were you able to get?

Thanks in advanced!!!

P.S. I am still planning on going to my interview either way, unless the IO confirms it tomorrow that it was indeed canceled. And for anyone thats curious, I got a hardcopy in the mail, no emails as of yet.

Sounds like a very good plan!

Sometimes the service center sends out a notice e-mail or letter and the case officer at local office is not updated, and the put a person down as a no-show.

Yes, definitely go to the interview.

As for the Infopass... My experience with them was terrible. They are incompetent, ignorant, and have no idea what they are doing. Well, as long as your local office is not San Jose, maybe you'll get lucky.

Our InfoPass appointment was very beneficial. We received an interview notice (via the website) that was later canceled. This was due to our AOS being sent to CSC. The woman at the Indy office told us this. It wasn't until a week later that we received official notice of the transfer to CSC.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.
