Yeah. I wish we knew about this form before interview. I cant figure out a definite as to why and who gets this additional “extreme vetting”. What I have found it is for people that are from MENA countries. But not all the people from MENA get it.
My lawyer didnt even tell me about it being a possibility. Its very hard to think you are finally at the end and then get it could be 2 weeks or a year before it gets approved.
Its not just the wait time of being apart for longer, its that it is extremely dangerous in Iraq for certain people.
inshallah it will be short wait for them to evaluate the form.
By the way, the only reason why we got interviewed in Turkey is cause they accepted expedite request. Otherwise we would be stuck until they opened up non Turkish citizens/residents.

Inshallah you do well

I already sent expedite request but got denied

what excuse did you use or what proof did you send them to accept your request if you don't mind me asking.

I sent 4 requests same reason. Many different things for proof. Took one year for them to accept expedite request. Reason is that my husband’s life is in danger. Iranian militia and ISIS after people working for and helping Americans. More dangerous that he is married to an American.

Turkey is only giving interviews to Turkish citizens and Turkish residents. If you are NOT a Turkish resident or citizen, then the only way you can get an interview is from being expedited.

My CR1/IR1 case has been expedited and file has been received by US Embassy in Ankara, Turkey.

US Embassy Ankara, Turkey informed me that once Beneficiary has been in Turkey physically for 14 days (COVID restrictions) they would schedule interview.

I have sent them proof of this several times and I have not heard back from them.

Has anyone else run into this problem?

Should I just keep trying to make an appointment online via https://ais.usvisa-info.com/?

There aren't any appointments available on https://ais.usvisa-info.com/. Has anyone been able to obtain appointments via this website?

I keep reading on VJ that many Embassies release interview date openings at the end of the month for the next month. Are they accessible on this website?

Has anyone had better luck calling the embassy directly?

I appreciate any insight on this situation.

Sorry to hear that I think you should wait also I have a question about the green card after beneficiary will receive I pray they approve , the green card will it be form the date that the application was filed or the date of approval . Thanks
