I paid my NVC and IV fees on the ceac website and after 10 days, the status still shows in process. Money has been withdrawn from my account about 8 days ago.

I already called and emailed NVC and different agents keep saying different things none of which makes sense.

Anyone had this issue? If so, how did you resolve it?

I am going through the same issue. I have talked to multiple agents calling everyday, sending an inquiry form on the website. It is like a black hole. They took the money out 1 week ago too (on day 2 after paying it on the website). Mine still says "IN PROCESS".  I don't know what to do but wait. Today an agent told me that "she is going to put a supervisor note on my case" and that they will contact me through my email. No email yet. I am going to call tomorrow to see if I get a different answer or if they can transfer me to an actual supervisor. Let me know how it goes for you.

@PTA petitioner

That means it's a system error. They took my money from my account about a week ago as well. The CEAC website must be having some stupid glitches. This is just ridiculous and frustrating.

Exactly right..that's what I have been trying to tell the NVC people since one week but I have been given the run around.. I understand that it takes 7-10 days for the payment to post BUT not when both payments were taken out on Day 2 after paying..what should we do?

I have exactly the same scenario. Paid on Sunday, money was taken out on Tuesday and since then it still says "IN PROCESS". I called my bank and they confirmed the transaction has cleared completely since Nov 10th!!!

I'm thinking of involving my congressman/senator. Ask them to contact NVC and try to get the issues resolved. Who knows if that can help. What other suggestions do you have?

I am going to give it this week including the weekend. Because some folks on Facebook said it took them > 2 weeks for processing the fees and say paid on NVC

But I am still going to call everyday and ask..did a supervisor look at my case? Can I get a hold of a supervisor?

Next Monday..if nothing happens then let me see if I should get someone involved to check my case (getting someone involved is more work on my end)..

Hope it goes well for you.

Yes, this happened to me back in May. If memory serves me correctly, it took 14-20 working days for the processing to update on the NVC.

I was calling the NVC every day after about the 5th working day. In my case, the NVC ultimately admitted there was an error/issue on their end. However, this required a second payment attempt, which added another 5-7 working days to my process.

I would encourage you to submit proof of payment clearing from your bank, and to communicate your efforts/experiences to the NVC

Thanks for your response @SEWI

Second payment means you paid twice?

20 working days is basically one month! Damn!

It's okay.

I will keep calling them.

My situation was slightly peculiar- the NVC ultimately recognised and then published on the login page that there was an issue with the payment processing around the time I was making my payment, which resulted in one of the two payments getting rejected. It was due to this rejection of payment that caused mine to take so long to fully process, it was originally stuck on 'processing', despite me knowing it had failed, before then finally updating to failed/rejected.

I had asked several agents if they could manually override the system and mark it as failed, so that I could make a second attempt sooner, but was informed I had to wait the process out.

Despite the inconvenience, I would absolutely encourage you to call every day until it is resolved, and to submit as much evidence of your payments as you can.

Thank you for your input. Called today again at 7 AM, was told that supervisor note was put in to have a look at my account. Told that it may take up to 6 weeks to clear..what the heck..😭

I was given the same 6-week information, which was bewildering.

It seemed everything took about 3-weeks at a time for me.

Wishing the best for you- it is tremendously frustrating. :(

Yes. I paid AOS on Nov 8 and IV on Nov 10. On Friday both still said "in process" so I emailed NVC (the IV fee was still in the timeframe but the AOS was definitely not). As of Monday Nov 16 both were still showing as "in process" so I called, waited for an hour and 20 minutes to speak with someone who was going to forward it for "supervisor review" who also stated it MAY take up to 6 weeks for a response. Now, yesterday morning I checked and the IV fee showed as "paid" but AOS still "in process." This morning, I received a response to my initial email inquiry saying:

Thank you for telling us about the problem you had with AOS fee.  We need some more information from you to investigate the problem. Please send us a copy of bank statement. We will use this information to assist you further.

Of course, you can't reply to the email they send so you have to go back to the NVC inquiry/help form and submit again. I printed a copy of my bank transactions and uploaded that to them along with a copy of the AOS fee receipt.

So anyway, that's where I am at.

Also of note, I didn't see it stated on the actual NVC payment page when I paid the fees but yesterday I noticed in the depths of pages at travel.state.gov that "you should not attempt to pay both payments simultaneously" which I initially tried to do but the IV fee was rejected. So it was sort of my thought that this was the reason mine was messed up. Now you'd think that, given the way the fee page is set up, it only seems logical to attempt to pay both at the same time, especially since I saw nothing there indicating you shouldn't.
