NVC requesting Petitioners Divorce papers

To my surprise, NVC sent a message saying they want the Petitioners divorce papers.

I had taken advice on this forum and not sent them because there were many posts about things being about the Beneficiary, and I had also sent this with USCIS docs.

Now it does say ACCEPTED for both categories, so I don't know if I'm done or they will review again.

Either way I'm obviously going to upload the divorce papers, not sure which category it goes in, maybe I'll add it to both.

Any marriage-based visa will require evidence of a legal marriage, or for K-1, both parties being legally able to conduct one. I have never seen anyone on VJ advise against sending divorce decrees.

O'rly? I had no idea, I mean there was that whole USCIS process.

You talk like I got to NVC by saying I'm married and not providing any evidence.

I guess because you've never seen it means it doesn't happen.

Although quick search reveals otherwise.

So your marriage-based petition was approved without providing evidence that previous marriages were dissolved?

I previously provided the petitioners divorce decree with the I-130 package.

I uploaded it so hopefully they still have quick turnaround time. Only took 8 days from initial submission.
