Hi guys 

 

I have to go back to Canada to visit my family during Christmas. I have a Canadian passport and a 2 years green card that is expiring by next year October. I think I can enter Canada fine but will I be allowed back in the states with my temporary green card during COVID restrictions?

Yes. Currently the land borders are closed so you will need to go by air (unless the land crossings re-open by then) but re-entering the US will not be an issue for you.

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

 

Now a US citizen!

I will be traveling by air from lax directly into yvr. Ty you are a dream.
