Oakland Park, FL ASC biometrics

Question #1:

Has anyone in this office recieved their biometrics letter? We've been waiting for ours since April 7th with absolutely no notices other than NOA1. We already filed a service request after the 90days since opening, it has been 30+days since our service request filing and no response. Is this the slowest office or something? Even Seattle seems quicker from the posts I've read. Is there somewhere I can view processing times for my specific ASC?

Question #2:

My husband and I have the opportunity to change our address to move in with my parents in their new home. It will be in another county (Palm Beach) so new ASC. Could this help us get our biometrics quicker or will we make things worse? Should we keep living in this house waiting for the Oakland Park office?

Edit to add: we filed for EAD and AOS after a k1 marriage.

Can you please fill out your profile more so we know where you are located.

Appointments for everything have been delayed drastically in some places.

As long as you have gotten NOA1 not much to do but wait.

Changing addresses is always a gamble sometimes the change doesn't even happen and it could speed it up or delay it depending on the offices.

Hi! So my husband is in the same situation as you. He filed for AOS in June, we got our NOA in late June and haven't heard anything since (Our closest ASC is also Oakland Park). We changed our address and I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. I filed a request for information about 2 months ago and FINALLY heard back today. Here's what the email said:

"Our records indicate that we are awaiting your appearance for biometric processing. Your case is currently in suspense or on hold until we receive your biometrics.  Your application information has been entered into the system which schedules applicants for biometrics at their local ASC. Once you have been scheduled, you will receive an ASC Appointment Notice containing the date, time and location of your appointment.  You must take the ASC Appointment Notice and photo ID to your appointment."

So does that mean that the appointment letter was sent and we never got it? Or does it mean that they haven't scheduled yet? I have no idea what this means and all the email says after this is to contact USCIS with questions, but we all know how that goes.

I think it's unlikely they would have sent you an appointment letter without having scheduled you first. This response says you haven't been scheduled yet.

We got our NOA1 for EAD and AOS in late April and are in a similar situation. We submitted a service request for the EAD since it's been 6 months, the average processing time for this. I am expecting a response similar to yours, unfortunately!

Hi! Yes we did! The biometrics appointment was on January 7th but my husband's EAD card didn't come in until today 3/15. Any update on your case status? Also we have a green card interview on March 30th!
