Hi VJ members

tomorrow is my interview appointment and hopefully it will be smooth and easy.

any advice from you guys? And for those who already got their interview done, what are the documents and the questions were about? And what are the documents were required?

thanks so much

Everyone will have a different experience. My IO didn't ask any questions about the relationship. You can check the VJ office reviews for reviews from your specific field office

It will be different based on the country and your interview officer. Definitely bring the documents requested, but as far as questions, my husband was only asked when we met and then he was approved. Some people get two or three questions, others have to explain situations. Try searching for reviews from people who attended the same Embassy that you are scheduled to go to.

This is an interview for an AOS, so it is conducted at the local office, and in the case of the OP based on other posts, will be at the Detroit office.

To the OP, it has been a while since my wife and I attended her AOS interview.  My main recommendation echoes what others have said, bring copies of your supporting documents that you filed or uploaded, and I would add, bring recent pictures of you and your spouse including, if you have them, pictures from the wedding.  Be truthful, and cordial, and positive as much as you can.  You never know how the IO will act, but keep in mind that even in the walk back to their office for the formal interview, they will be interviewing you, and hopefully all will go well!

Good Luck!
