No NOA1 and it's 2 days away from being 4 weeks, is this normal at the moment?

Is it due to COVID or what other reason could it be taking almost 4 weeks cause I thought you were supposed to receive it within 2-3 weeks max?

Thanks

I have a few people I know doing K1s. One is just past 7 months, and nothing on NOA 2 yet. Other is only at 3 months since NOA 1. I'll post back if the person just past 7 months gets NOA 2 soon.

There is no normal in this process. With the pandemic, which throwing all sense of timelines out the window, has affected the time it takes to process the intake at this time. NOA1 has been running anywhere from 2-4 weeks.

NOA2 is 5-8 months. Some have gone on for one, two and three years. Those are extreme cases but my opine is only to brace you for what is to come. Good luck and stay engaged.

Seems like most people are waiting 7-8 months for NOA 2 as of right now. I filed in mid April and just passed the 7 month mark. Hoping I get my approval next month in December, but no expectations.

I am at 5 weeks with no NOA1.

If you haven't contacted USCIS by phone you need to. At 5 weeks you are out of the normal timeline as we know it to be today.

USCIS normal timelines  is like 20 years . They have gone to court to claim that anything around that time is reasonable
