K1 Interview Bank Statement

My bank account was opened ~10 years ago as a joint account with my mother. The bank statement I received from the bank has both our names listed because of this. Anyone think this could cause any sort of issue at the interview? I completely forgot it was a joint account until now. All the money in the account is mine of course.

It may since it's a joint bank account. I've had problems with like mortgage loans and what not for this same reason. My dad created my account with me when I was in hs but doesn't use the account at all. I think an expert can better provide guidance, but I would probably take your mom off your account. It only took us 5 min

Is your income sufficient? 

 

Does Tokyo require asset disclosure?

My income is sufficient, but not by a lot. I am not entirely sure if asset disclosure is required or not. I am expecting to receive the interview instruction packet next week.
