Family immigration-catagory F4

 I have gone through interview in the Feb. this year under family immigration-F4 Category at Us- Embassy Islamabad-Pakistan. It was very good interview, all documents submitted (nothing was missing). Did not received any follow up Instructions, Visa Officer kept all my family Passport and they said " will informed  you  through Email. 

In March-April 2020,  because of Pandemic-Corona all the Process was got halted ,due to President Proclamation till Dec. 2020, I was tracking visa status through CAEC website. It was showing "Ready" for first few months.

Recently I checked it mentioned  "REFUSED".  I have not received any email or Phone call about this issue.

So my question is what does it mean? Does they have really refused my Visa or its there because of BAN? Does anybody else has similar situation? What should I do next?

Hello, my dad his F4 visa interview (it was delayed for him) in February as well. We did it in December and got the visa. He hasn't received his visa yet due to the embassy closing and the COVID pandemic and everything going on. But on CEAC it still says that his visa is ready. I suggest you contact the embassy in Islamabad. Good luck man.

A VISA is either ISSUED or REFUSED.  A refused visa may be in that state if it is actually in Administrative Processing.  Administrative Processing at ISL can take days, months and even years.  The longest we have seen is 3 years.   If they have not returned your passport and / or sent you a denial letter then they are still doing the background check.   There is plenty of discussions in your regional forum.
