It was announced on the local public radio station this morning but otherwise has been unpublicized.

They will be handing out a limited number of wrist bands at 12:30pm - the performance will be at 7pm.

(In case anyone here could attend) :P

I just listened to one of his new songs, "That Was Me" - it's really good! :star:

I hope it is legit. There was a rumor around here a couple momths back about some big name group was to perform at a record store/department. This was picked up by the local news outlets and radio stations. Turned out to be someone's practical joke.

YMMV

It's legit...Nick Hardcourt, manager of KCRW and host of "Morning Becomes Eclectic" announced it. :)

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I saw Paul McCartney at Glastonbury some years ago and it was a little like watching your dad dancing a wedding.

Still, he sang Hey Jude which was pretty good.

I saw him in NYC back in like 2002 I think. An old friend of mine is in his band so we go to go backstage too - Paul is SHORT.

He sang several Beatles songs & a few Wings tunes. It was damn good. But I alwasy think it's weird when ONE band member sings songs that a group wrote/performed.

I must be the ONLY person who thinks that Paul McCartney is a tad rubbish. Yeah, he was great with the Beatles and Live and Let Die was really fab. But now? He is just a sad old man trying to be hip and young. I find it rather embarrassing, to be honest.

His iTunes advert over here in the States makes me laugh. How much money did they spend on trying to make him not look all jowly and wrinkly? Dearie me... :P
