Does anybody here from Philipines got scheduled for visa interview for I-130?

My son became Documentarily Qualified last August 17, 2020 but this is already Nov. 14 today but I haven't heard any email from NVC for the schedule interview date. Is it normal?

Depends on the beneficiary's age. Per the relevant proclamations, the beneficiary might be exempt.

My son is minor he is 15.

Hi, our case was documentary qualified August 2020 as well. We submitted a request for an expedite, which was approved in September.

I had my interview with the embassy on November 6.

Son is exempt from the ban, but what is the usual time between DQ and interview at Manila?  If an expedite as per post above still takes almost 3 months, I’m assuming OP’s wait is probably normal?

How to expedite and how much you have to pay?

Then he is exempt. Have you tried contacting Manila or NVC?

No fees for the expedite request. We sent an email to nvcexpedite@state.gov before our case was documentarily qualified.

and yes, my embassy is in Manila.
