Joe Biden is reported to be considering Hillary Clinton for a role in his administration, with the former secretary of state in the running to become the US ambassador to the United Nations.

Ms Clinton, who lost to Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election, is “being discussed” as a potential pick for the role, according to the Washington Post.

The president-elect has already begun assembling his coronavirus taskforce, and in the coming months will need to choose the members of his cabinet. Discussions are underway, even as Mr Trump has refused to concede the election, citing voter fraud without providing evidence.

Mr Biden’s team has been vetting potential candidates for top roles in his administration for months, and a number of options are to be presented to him in the coming days.

   This will give Hannity and Carlson something to do for the next 4 years, I guess.

 

   I would personally move on from Hillary if I was Biden. She is certainly qualified for the position, but she is basically right there behind (or possibly ahead of) the boogie man in conservative nightmares. Given everything Biden has said about coming together, I would want to avoid that disruption. 

      

   ETA: Just looking at the article, this looks more like click bait chatter than anything substantive. One line about Hillary, a couple of lines about other positions in the administration, and 40 pages of click spam advertisements.

I agree that it's likely just chum to get people excited and at each other's throats again. She also enjoys -- clearly! -- trolling people into thinking she's coming back like Lady Lazarus (fantastic poem, btw). I mean, if you were to believe what is on here she would be dusting off her inauguration gown right now because wasn't Biden supposed to step aside during the campaign and let her slot in as the replacement candidate when it was too late?
