Freaking out about post-interview ROC decision. Please help!

Had our I-751 / ROC interview back in September and have heard nothing until now. Our case was rock solid.

I reached out to our congressman and got this response from their staff and it is FREAKING me out. What does this mean?

This case has been returned to the reviewing officer for final adjudication. Your constituent TheKingmaker can expect a result within the next 2 weeks; a letter will be sent explaining the decision.

The words "reviewing officer" and "letter will be sent" are freaking me out. Someone please calm me.

Sounds like final approval coming soon.  I think "Reviewing Officer" is a generic term for someone at the top of the chain........Remember, very, very few I-751s are denied......just keep watching the status.....and keep us updated.......Good luck.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

I think you should be fine since no officers visit you home during the time. I got my interview yesterday. They gave me the form that they will give the decision within 120 days. The IO said everything was delayed due to Covid. Be patient.

and don’t freak out. Even if you’re denied, you still can appeal. Sit back and relax.
